Under the HUMSS, Creative Writing/Malikhaing Pagsulat; Introduction to World Religions and Belief Systems; Creative Nonfiction; Trends, Networks, and Critical Thinking in the 21st Century Culture; Philippine Politics and Governance; Community Engagement, Solidarity, and Citizenship; Disciplines and Ideas in the Social Sciences; Disciplines and Ideas in the Applied Social Sciences, and Work Immersion/Research/Career Advocacy/Culminating Activity will be offered as specialized subjects.

“The style of K-12 teaching is student-centered. The DepEd encourages teachers to elicit knowledge, and let students discover things through proper guidance and direction. The teacher is a planner, an assessor, and a facilitator,” said Earl Carlo Cruz, a faculty member of MHSS.

Early this year, MHSS principal Jocelyn Antiporda said that the school will be ready for the full implementation of Senior High School.
