MHSS scholar feted with DOST recognition

Following her impressive feats at Singapore and India, MHSS grade 7 student Audrey Gabrielle Tan brought home another accolade from the YES (Youth Excellence in Science) awards. The awarding ceremony was held last February 25 at the Philippine International Convention Center, with more than 400 students awarded.

The YES Award is an institutional distinction given by the Department of Science and Technology to young achievers in the fields of science and mathematics. The Secretary’s Medal is conferred to winners of international science and math competitions that have been duly registered with Science Education Institute-DOST by national organizers.
