Rank 11 For MHSS In The NAT

Saturday, July 4, 2009

Malayan High School of Science is proud to announce that in the recent National Achievement Test (NAT) conducted to all second year students from both public and private schools nationwide during the SY 2008-2009, the school obtained a rank of 11 out of 82 private schools in the Division of City Schools, Manila. The results were released by the Department of Education.

As Dr. Reynaldo B. Vea, President of Malayan High School of Science, said during the General Assembly of Parents and Teachers held on July 4, 2009 at the school gymnasium, “We are happy and proud of the achievement of our students considering that MHSS is very young but we are not contented.”

True enough, there is much to be done as far as the academic performance of the students is concerned. We should not sit on our laurels but rather use them as a challenge to scale greater heights.

It can be recalled that MHSS started its operation during the school year 2006-2007. Come March, the school shall be graduating its alpha batch of graduates.

Congratulations Malayan High School of Science!
